Leanne was first intrigued by the investment industry in childhood due to the stories her godfather would tell about the stock market, and that interest never left. With over 30 years in the Wealth Management business, she has partnered James Pelmore in the business for more than 25 years. Prior to that partnership she oversaw the Registered Plans division of a national brokerage firm developing in depth knowledge of all aspects of retirement savings plans.
Leanne’s passion in business is helping people achieve clarity about their financial picture – where they are, where they want to go, and then guiding them to make decisions that will help achieve their life goals. It is rewarding to work with long term clients to help with the process of transitioning from working to a financially independent retirement, with more plans and ambitions to realize.
She received her Certified Financial Planner® Professional designation in 2001, and is currently enrolled in the Institute of Family Enterprise Advisors (IFEA) program at UBC’s Sauder School of Business.
A born and raised Vancouverite, Leanne lives in the city and enjoys the many amenities living in Vancouver offers. She loves travel, and recently climbed Kilimanjaro to raise funds for Amani Children’s Home in Tanzania. She tries to go somewhere new every year. Weekend activities include theatre, hiking, snowshoeing or swimming, and spending time with family and friends or a rainy day with a good book.
